First i must say that I love reading your site.
And it really makes me smile to know i am not the only one with ” smart mouth toddler”. my husband call her “a bit” short for “a bit too much for me(him) to handle alone”

Well if it will make you feel better, *signin* “yoouuu are not aloooone.” LOL. Yesterday my Hunny told my oldest daughter Amira to stop chasing her sister and growling. And she kindly told him “I’m not Amira, I’m AMRIA BEAR” in her growl voice. And kept right on what she was doing. LOL.

Realize that last comment wasnt constructive enough lol…Dont worry kids say mean things all the time. I tried to run away from home as a kid after saying a lot of mean things to my mother (Guess i didnt like the whole safe haven and full belly thing) but she just offered to help me to pack…(that didnt work out as planned) Yea..they say lots of hurtful things but just dont take it too personal their brains arent fully developed yet.

My daughter calls me mean all the time and tells me not to talk to her anymore. Another day we’re best friends and she calls her Mom mean and tells her not to talk to her. I think we just take turns at it depending on who’s telling her to get ready for bed, or do her homework, or turn off the TV…

one time, on the one hour drive home from preschool, Johnny (at 3) repeatedly told his mother – all the way home – “I love daddy more than you”

he made up for it later that week, by saying he had a secret to tell me; so I leaned over and he whispered in my ear – “I don’t like you very much”
